Day 1, 188 delegates from 145 universities representing 28 nationalities gathered in George Washington University Morton Auditorium for the openimg ceremony of the G8 &G20 Summit, where each and every country was welcomed by the Senior Provost of the George Washington University and enjoyed intellectual panel discussions with the United States Department of State and a guest speak by current President of the Young Professionals on Foreign Policy and Booz and Allen Associate Gary Barnabo. The day was capped by a visit to the SA Embassy where we met the South African Ambassador to the U.S and former Western Cape Premier Ebrahim Rasool, and ended,with causes meetings with the Economics Committee. The day is Tuesday the 5th, and official negotiations will commence.
