IYC South Sudan Chapter: is parnering with Zayrah, a social development Agency based in South Africa to Start a libray in South Sudan.

Zayrah: Is a youth led Socio-Economic Development Agency. They seek to transform society by rebuilding societies that have been affected by conflicts. Zayrah means seed and they seek to plant a seed of hope in people’s lives. They believe in young people’s initiatives and constantly seek to enhance and promote developmental solutions from the youth perspective. Zayrah focuses more on workshop, training for youth, inspiring change and restoring dignity. With no budget they have managed to successful run a few programs and address critical issues on topics such as food security, dignity and leadership. Amukelani Mayimele, the founder of Zayrah is known around the globe for being an influential youth leader. She has facilitated a few programs including a dialogue on democracy for youth participation in the Fiji Islands. Some of the links to Zayrah’s and Amukelani’s  initiatives includes:

Peace Games is lifestyle, way of solving conflicting communities. It's fun and i love what we are doing here in the South Sudan to unite youths of conflicting tribes. A breath taking match between Magwi Primary and Magwi Central ended 1-0 in favor of Magwi Central Primary School.

Another thing is bringing the youth together.

If the youth of this nation are brought together and they (the youth) identified themselves as one people regardless of tribal boundaries, race, color, handicapped, able or superior over the others to mention just a few. South Sudan would develop into a nation that every national would love to stay in.

We still need to do a lot in order to build this new Independent nation (South Sudan)So the participation of the youth is importantly paramount.
