What other organizations are you involved with?
Mr. Mudassar Shahbaz hails from Chiniot, Punjab and is currently Chairperson of Standing Committee on Political and Electoral System at Youth Parliament Pakistan and a student of LLB Hons at University of the Punjab, Lahore. He attended Chenab College Jhang where he had been the student of the year for the year 2007 and 2008. Later on, he did his intermediate from Government College University, Lahore where he was Manager at Hostel. In 2011 he got National Talent Scholarship. Currently, he has started his journalistic career as a columnist at Din News. He is a young leader and a policy maker. He has served as a Youth Governor for three consecutive terms. He is also a member of International Youth Council (IYC) aiming to co-ordinate among youth of various nations. He wrote a policy Paper titled "Policy Paper for Ministry of Law and Parliamentary Affairs" in order to promote justice and Rule of Law at district level in Punjab Province. The Government of the Punjab adopted the recommendations mentioned in the said paper and established "Ombudsman offices" in all Districts. He has been awarded multiple times for his oratory skills and has won the recognition from the Parliament of Pakistan as well. He also got Best Governor Award and Best Policy Maker Award. He has experience of presiding over various societies and has participated in various TV talk shows. He attended various International conferences like Young Leaders Conference and Biennial International Pediatric Conference. He also attended different UN conferences like Electoral Reforms Conference of UN, Technology and Strengthening Democracy Conference and Youth Perspective in elections Conference.
