female infanticide-a heinous crime

It’s a woman who gives birth to her children who later grows up to  be the inspiration .A woman’s role is considered supreme and is given importance. However when we have a look at the census we observe that there are more men in this world than the number of  women

. WHAT CAN BE THE REASON BEHIND THIS? WHICH CRUEL PRACTICE MUST BE BEHIND THIS FACT?

It’s none other than the cruel practice of Female Infanticide. female infanticide is the deliberate killing of newborn female children. Female infanticide is a major cause of concern in several nations such as China and India. It has been argued that the "low status" in which women are viewed in patriarchal societies creates a bias against females. The main root causes of all problems endured by women are just because of the socially constructed difference entitled to women by the society. Here is what i read from a newspaper-

"As soon as the little girls are born, they are plunged into the water in order to drown them or force is applied to their bodies in order to suffocate them or they are strangled with human hands. And something even more deplorable is that there are servants who place the girl in the chamber pot or in the basin used for the birth, which is still filled with water and blood and, shut away there, they die miserably. And what is even more monstrous is that if the mother is not cruel enough to take the life of her daughter, then her father-in-law, mother-in-law, or husband agitates her by their words to kill the girl."

Motherhood is considered to be the most beautiful form of a woman however by this practice of a mother killing her child it proves to be bad name on the name of motherhood..we have been successful in reducing this crime but we had been unsuccessful in permanently abolishing it.

THE YOUTH IS THE ONLY SAVIOUR.THIER THOUGHTS AND THINKING WILL BE SHOWN IN THE FUTURE .LETS TAKE EFFECTIVE MEASURE IN BRINGING THIS CRIME DOWN....
