AFRICAN WOMAN LEADER TO SUPERVISE DEMOCRATIC TRANSITION IN THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC - NEED FOR INCREASED ENTRY OF AFRICAN WOMEN IN AFRICAN POLITICS

The appointment of an African woman, Catherine Samba-Panza to supervise the transition to democratic rule and stability in the Central African Republic (C.A.R) is indeed a welcome development. At least let us encourage African women politicians to see if they can better what our selfish men leaders have failed to achieve in Africa. Entry of women in African politics should be encouraged. We want more of this in African politics. – Amb. Perry Ndubuisi Idejiora-Kalu, IYC Policy Unit
